Gruene Grist Mill

Gruene Grist Mill

Gruene (pronounced “green”) is on the northwest side of New Braunfels, and is a popular destination for shoppers because of its many quaint shops and great eateries. One of their best known restaurants is the Grist Mill, which is a large place with a comprehensive menu. This route begins in Oak Hill, and follows true back roads which provide terrific views of the Hill Country. After shopping and lunch at the Grist Mill Restaurant, the route returns to Oak Hill along the same scenic roads we followed on the way to Gruene.
