Our House!
Once Gwendolyn got her job, we committed to getting a house in NW Houston. So we called the realtor again and went looking at 3 houses on Saturday. 2 of them we had seen before, both were favorites from the previous time we looked.
We started off at our favorite house on Telegraph creek. It was still looking good, and this time we paid more attention to the little things. The stove and microwave were a little dated, but overall it was doable. So we headed to the next house which we haven’t seen yet, and after 2 mins in it, we knew we wouldn’t be getting that one, so we headed off to Whiple Street. It was still a nice house, but Telegraph was closer to both our jobs and was still our favorite. So we got the application papers and headed home.
Finally 3 days later, we were approved! Now we are just waiting to pack it up and move in. We get the house on the 18th, so I will be moving in then. Gwendolyn will move in as she has time. She’s going to be pretty busy with school and a new job.
